Community Action Team Upcoming Events – Summer, 2011


July 4 Spectacular – Come visit our booth at YL Middle School to fund raise for
our Community Action Team (CAT), and stay to watch the best fireworks show
in O.C. Festivities will start around 3:00 p.m.


Relay For Life – Dig your sneakers out from the back of the closet … it is Relay Time again. Celebrate. Remember.
Fight Back. Join us on this 24-hour walk to find a cure for cancer, August 5, 3:00 p.m., at YL Middle School. Signups
started May 1. Find someone on the team and donate today!


Annual Back-to-School Supply Donation Drive – Drive through and donate. August 13 and 14, we will be collecting
back-to-school supplies to fill backpacks that will go to Project Dignity. Project Dignity supplies local kids living
in motels the chance to start school off with a backpack full of school supplies. Items needed include pencils,
paper, backpacks, glue sticks, rulers, folders, etc. Let's beat last year's goal of 30 full backpacks!
